Associate Relationship Manager – Public Sector

About the role

The Associate Relationship Manager – Public Sector reports to the Relationship Manager Public Sector and will be based at Finance Trust Bank’s Head Office in Kampala. The role is responsible for leading deposit mobilisation within the public‑sector segment and developing ecosystem‑banking strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver CASA and Average Daily Balances targets.
• Develop and execute the public‑sector banking strategy, driving deposit aggregation and collection domiciliation.
• Build and manage a pipeline of high‑value institutions and senior relationships with government, donors and related entities.
• Promote ecosystem banking across parents, members, staff and suppliers, positioning the bank as the primary banking partner.
• Increase digital transaction volumes, convert cash collections into digital flows and monitor activity, retention and performance metrics.
• Identify new partnership opportunities, acquire anchor institutions and support lending, transaction banking and digital solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Management or a related field.
• Self‑motivated, result‑oriented professional with strong relationship‑building abilities.
