Business Analyst – Employee Value Banking

About the role

The Business Analyst – Employee Value Banking will support the growth of the Employee Value Banking (EVB) proposition for personal and private clients, with a focus on the public sector and key economic contributors. The role combines market research, client acquisition planning and performance monitoring to drive value for the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse the local market to identify business drivers, influencers and competitor activity.
• Identify sales gaps and design remedial action plans.
• Build and maintain a network with product, credit and segment owners to manage new leads.
• Develop business attraction plans for personal solutions and assess market potential.
• Monitor sales performance against targets and track client activity schedules.
• Provide detailed insights and analytics on internal and external markets to guide EVB teams.
• Support the EVB project rollout by delivering insights, managing stakeholder engagements and ensuring SLA compliance.
• Recommend continuous improvements in client value, service model and processes.

Required profile

• First degree in Business, Commerce or a related field from a recognised institution.
• 2‑3 years experience in a branch banking environment with stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of market segmentation, value propositions and customer profiles.
• Proven ability to present findings and conduct data analysis.
• Behavioural competencies such as clear communication, adaptability, task management and meeting deadlines.
