Business Development Officer

About the role

Cathnam Networks is looking for a motivated, results‑focused Business Development Officer to identify new clients, build strategic partnerships, and increase sales for its electrical engineering, renewable energy and automation services.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and assess new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct market research to evaluate industry trends and competitor activity.
• Prepare and present proposals and pricing models to prospects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Provide responsive customer service and resolve client issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of sales activities.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in sales, business development or account management in technology‑related sectors is an advantage.
• Self‑motivated, organized and able to work independently as well as in a hybrid team environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and basic financial understanding for pricing and budgeting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software.
• Experience using CRM tools.
