Chief Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Engineer to lead engine‑room operations on our gas tanker fleet. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable performance of all machinery while supporting the company’s transition toward a more sustainable world.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all operations and maintenance activities in the engine room on board each vessel.
• Lead the engine‑room team on a daily basis and maintain close contact with the technical department.
• Plan and execute operational maintenance and prepare repair periods.
• Conduct risk assessments for unexpected situations and provide proactive advice to Vessel/Fleet Management.
• Participate in the onboard management team and oversee the development and performance assessment of junior engineers.

Required profile

• All mandatory STCW training completed.
• Advanced Gas Tanker certificate.
• Good command of the English language.
• Experience working with mixed‑nationality crews.
