Chief Executive Officer

About the role

The Chief Executive Officer will lead the Club’s strategic direction, ensuring alignment with the President’s vision while driving sustainable growth, commercial expansion, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Club’s strategic plan, annual operational plans and budgets.
• Oversee football operations, ensuring compliance with FIFA, CAF, FUFA and UPL regulations and managing player registration and contracts.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial controls, audits and sponsorship negotiations.
• Build and maintain commercial partnerships, drive membership growth and fan engagement.
• Ensure full governance and regulatory compliance, maintaining all licences and certifications.
• Recruit, supervise and evaluate Club staff, establishing performance management systems.
• Oversee maintenance and development of training facilities, stadium usage and capital projects.
• Represent the Club with external bodies such as FUFA, CAF and FIFA, managing stakeholder communications.

Required profile

• Executive‑level experience (minimum 4 years) in sports or entertainment management.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management and commercial development.
• Strong knowledge of FIFA, CAF, FUFA and Uganda Premier League regulations.
• Experience in human resources leadership and infrastructure project oversight.
• Excellent governance, stakeholder management and communication skills.
