About the role
The Senior Accountant will lead the accounting team in managing financial controls, daily transaction processing, and the preparation of accurate financial statements. The role is responsible for ensuring an effective and consistent month‑end and period‑end close, coordinating with other departments, and upholding the company’s financial integrity and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise accounting staff and oversee financial controls.
- Process daily transactions and prepare monthly and period‑end financial statements.
- Lead month‑end and period‑end close activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Conduct accounting stock counts and manage fixed assets records.
- Perform financial reporting and support year‑end financial statement audits.
- Maintain internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide leadership and supervision.
- Monitor cash flow, reconcile bank statements, and prepare management reports.
