Clinical Psychologist

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Kamwokya. The professional will assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health conditions using evidence‑based therapeutic approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews and gather comprehensive client histories.
• Administer, score, and interpret cognitive and personality assessments.
• Formulate accurate diagnoses based on clinical findings.
• Design and deliver structured talk‑therapy treatment plans for disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality issues.
• Maintain detailed clinical records and monitor client progress over multiple sessions.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.).
• Licensure or registration to practice psychology in Uganda (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 1 month of relevant clinical experience.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in psychological testing and assessment tools.
• Ability to apply evidence‑based therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building therapeutic rapport.
