Club and Activities Manager

About the role

The Club and Activities Manager leads the daily operations of a Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) facility, overseeing fitness programs, bar services, and social events. This position ensures a safe, welcoming environment for patrons while delivering high‑quality recreational and hospitality experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exercise guidance, testing, prescription, and supervise group fitness classes.
• Mix and serve alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, adhering to age and safety regulations.
• Manage bar inventory, ordering, and point‑of‑sale transactions, including cash drawer oversight.
• Maintain sanitation standards for bar tools, glassware, and equipment.
• Open and close the bartending station, ensuring all equipment is functional.
• Coordinate social events, team sports, and recreation club activities.
• Monitor staff performance to ensure excellent customer service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience coordinating team sports, recreation clubs, or social events.
• MWR or armed‑forces experience preferred.
• CPR and first‑aid certification preferred.
• Ability to work long hours in remote or adverse conditions.
