Consultant – Digital Family Planning Register/Application (Uganda)

About the role

Path is seeking a consultant to lead the development and implementation of a digital Family Planning Register and application for its Uganda Country Program. The role will support the Private Sector Market Facilitation for Family Planning project, working closely with the Uganda Ministry of Health and commercial partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and pilot a digital register to capture family planning service data.
• Collaborate with Ministry of Health officials, private‑sector partners, and implementing agencies to ensure alignment with national health information systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to local staff and partners on the use of the application.
• Monitor data quality, generate reports, and recommend improvements for scale‑up.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to knowledge‑sharing outputs.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary education (e.g., public health, health informatics, or related field).
• Proven experience in digital health projects, preferably in reproductive health or family planning.
• Familiarity with health information systems and data collection tools used in low‑resource settings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multi‑sector stakeholders.
