Credit Analyst

About the role

The Credit Analyst role supports Finance by providing insight into distributor trading, managing risk, and ensuring accurate processing of rebates and customer accounts. Working closely with commercial, sales, logistics and finance teams, the analyst helps drive data‑driven decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide insights on distributor trading and manage associated risks.
• Process rebates accurately and reconcile customer accounts.
• Deliver data analytics to internal users as required.
• Liaise with Sales, Logistics, Marketing, Finance and DBSC teams across all locations.
• Act as primary contact for distributors and banks regarding statements and financing.
• Coordinate with Order creation, Credit Control and Customer Service to resolve issues promptly.
• Request and update customer/credit master data, new customer set‑up and credit limit changes.
• Maintain CARM controls, oversee OTC checklists and document related processes.
• Monitor credit limits in SAP and obtain approvals for excess balances.
• Manage bank guarantee confirmations, custody, and recall processes.
• Supervise monthly debit and credit note reporting in SAP.
• Prepare monthly free‑issue and cut‑off reports and analyse distributor empties versus physical stock.
