Demand Planner for Quick Commerce

About the role

As a Demand Planner in Glovo's Quick Commerce Micro Fulfillment Centers (MFCs) vertical, you will forecast product needs and manage purchase orders to keep stores stocked while minimizing waste.

Key responsibilities

• Improve forecast accuracy using historical sales data, accounting for promotions, seasonality, events and new products.
• Collaborate with category management, marketing and operations to align demand forecasts with supply‑chain capabilities.
• Maintain purchasing tool parameters such as safety stocks and bank holidays for inventory optimisation.
• Create purchase orders, monitor supplier deliveries and ensure timely replenishment of MFCs.
• Track and report supply‑chain KPIs for Uganda, analysing availability, turnover, shrinkage and fill rates.
• Work with suppliers to improve performance (fill rates, delays, incidents) and develop improvement plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or Supply Chain/Operations.
• At least two years of relevant experience in demand or supply planning.
• Strong business judgment, communication skills and a practical, results‑oriented approach.
• Fluent English and ability to analyse data and think critically.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Applications (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
