Dispatch Officer

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Dispatch Officer to ensure smooth coordination between airline representatives and our operational unit. The role focuses on maintaining hygiene standards, accurate flight information, and effective communication across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company hygiene rules and maintain cleanliness of the work area and fridges.
• Facilitate instant communication between airline representatives and the unit, transmitting daily flight schedules to all departments.
• Enter and continuously update flight details and services in the system, keeping accurate records in the archives.
• Control hygiene records for accuracy and promptly transmit any additional requests or updates.
• Monitor quantity and quality of food in the final holding fridge.
• Prepare, check, edit, print and forward delivery notes to the finance office within agreed deadlines.
• Collect cash payments for ad‑hoc flights and transmit totals to accounting.
• Relay airline communications to relevant services and ensure proper understanding.
• Coordinate bond instructions (excess equipment or special off‑load) with flight supervisors.
• Communicate airline complaints or comments to the concerned service and follow up appropriately.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence – class B is required; class C and C1 are advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail for hygiene control and record keeping.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Effective communication skills to ensure timely information flow.

Required skills

• Class B driving licence (mandatory).
