Dryer Operator

About the role

The Dryer Operator will run and monitor drying equipment within Asili Agriculture’s production line, ensuring consistent product quality and optimal throughput. The role is hands‑on and requires close collaboration with supervisors and maintenance staff.

Key responsibilities

• Set up dryer machines at the start of each shift and verify correct operation.
• Adjust speed, temperature and pressure settings to meet production specifications.
• Continuously monitor output, inspect finished products and address any quality deviations.
• Maximise productivity by operating equipment efficiently and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE and report hazards.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication and basic maintenance of the dryer.
• Document production quantities, machine performance and maintenance activities.
• Provide feedback for process improvements and participate in ongoing training.

Required profile

• Certificate in electrical installation or a related technical field.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
