Electrician – Commercial & Office Buildings

About the role

The company is seeking a full‑time electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems across its commercial and office properties in Kampala. The role ensures safe, reliable power distribution and supports continuous improvement of building operations.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Install, wire, rewire and upgrade electrical systems in commercial structures.
• Diagnose faults, perform routine inspections and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors and technical teams to resolve issues.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Required profile

• Strong practical skills in electricity and safe handling of installations.
• Relevant technical training, certification or diploma in electrical installation or related field.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes, safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, site supervisors and contractors.
