About the role

Prudential Uganda is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead its sales team in Kampala. The role focuses on driving growth for insurance and financial solutions, coaching staff, and ensuring excellent client service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals.
• Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for Prudential’s insurance and financial products.
• Track performance metrics and prepare regular sales reports.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing and other internal stakeholders on campaigns and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in sales management or supervisory roles, preferably within financial services.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work collaboratively across functions.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and regulatory compliance.
