Fuel Station Mini Mart/Shop Supervisor

About the role

The Mini Mart/Shop Supervisor ensures the fuel station convenience store runs smoothly, maximising sales and profitability while providing a clean, attractive shopping experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan macro and micro store space to promote cross‑sales and product visibility.
• Implement merchandising standards, FIFO stock rotation, vertical merchandising and clear price labeling.
• Prioritise high‑margin categories (non‑alcoholic beverages, snacks, alcohol, groceries) and avoid shelf overcrowding.
• Manage supplier relationships, verify invoices, monitor deliveries for theft or non‑moving items, and negotiate favourable terms.
• Prevent loss by supervising high‑risk periods (6:00‑8:00 am) and maintaining daily inventory checks.
• Maintain organized storage, apply FIFO, and align re‑ordering with sales patterns.
• Set competitive pricing, review weekly, and ensure all items display name and price.

Required profile

• Experience supervising a retail or convenience‑store environment.
• Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy and shelf presentation.
• Ability to enforce loss‑prevention measures and manage staff during peak risk times.
• Good record‑keeping skills for supplier and stock documentation.
