Fuel & Water Bowser Driver

About the role

We are looking for a professional Driver to manage fuel and water bowser operations on a construction site. The role ensures safe, efficient and timely refuelling of plant equipment and generators while complying with project policies and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and dispense fuel from the bowser, maintaining accurate fuel logs and performing daily fuel level checks.
• Conduct daily inspections of the bowser and associated equipment (tires, brakes, hoses, pumps, spray bars) and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain strict control of fuel issuance to prevent waste, spills or theft and follow grounding and spill‑kit procedures.
• Coordinate water bowser activities, suppress dust in designated areas, keep the equipment clean and report faults promptly.
• Submit daily fuel and water usage reports to the Driver Supervisor or Logistics Coordinator.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings and adhere to site HSE and driving requirements.

Required profile

• Valid heavy‑truck driving licence (Class C or C1).
• Certificate or training in fuel and water bowser operations.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating fuel and water bowsers.
• Working knowledge of fire safety, spill response and HSE procedures.
• Good command of English (reading, writing and speaking) and reliable record‑keeping skills.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to meet deadlines.
