Health and Administrative Vacancies – Amuria District

About the role

Amuria District Local Government is inviting suitably qualified Ugandan candidates to apply for a range of civil service vacancies announced in External Advert No. 1/2019. Positions include Assistant District Health Officer (Environmental Health), Assistant District Health Officer (Maternal Child Health), Anaesthetic Officer, Public Health Nurse, Dispenser and other health‑related posts. Applicants must complete PSC Form 3 (Revised 2008) and, for teaching posts, ESC Form 3 (Revised 1998) in triplicate, hand‑written, with coloured passport‑size photographs, and submit them to the Secretary District Service Commission, Amuria by 5:00 pm on 11 March 2019. Required documents are certified copies of academic certificates, transcripts, institutional identity cards and any relevant appointment letters. Candidates may apply for up to two positions only. Current government employees must route applications through their Responsible Officers. Application forms are available from the Public Service Commission, the Chief Administrative Officer’s office and the District Service Commission nationwide. The district emphasizes that the recruitment process is free of charge; any solicitation of money will lead to disqualification.
