About the role
SMARTEC ELECTRONICS LTD is hiring a High/Low-Pressure Leak Testing Operator in Kampala (Kamwokya). The role covers operating a leak detector, setting test parameters for each product model and separating failed units.
Key responsibilities
- Start up the leak detector and carry out daily maintenance and servicing checks.
- Set the test parameters for each product model.
- Test units under high and low pressure and read the results correctly.
- Recognise and respond to the machine's leak alarms.
- Record test results accurately and separate any failed units.
- Report machine faults and repeated leak failures to the Line Leader.
