About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead HR operations for a manufacturing factory, ensuring efficient processes, compliance with labour regulations, and strong employee support. The role focuses on recruitment, talent development, payroll, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive timely recruitment across all departments and job categories.
  • Manage employee induction, training, and development programmes.
  • Ensure statutory and legal compliance for the factory.
  • Implement and monitor Performance Management Systems aligned with organisational goals.
  • Oversee salary processing, disbursement and related payroll activities.
  • Administer support services for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enforce HR policies and monitor adherence throughout the organisation.
  • Develop succession plans for key positions.
  • Handle employee exit formalities and clearances.
  • Lead employee welfare initiatives and engagement activities.
  • Address grievances and resolve employee issues per company policy.
  • Maintain healthy industrial relations and prevent IR‑related problems.
  • Introduce new HR practices and welfare programmes.
  • Manage disciplinary matters and corrective actions.
  • Liaise with local authorities and government officials when required.
  • Prepare and monitor HR budgets, ensuring compliance.
  • Coordinate with department managers on manpower and HR needs.
  • Process visas and travel arrangements for new hires.
  • Coordinate vendors related to HR and administration activities.

Required profile

  • Strong experience in HR operations within the manufacturing sector.
  • Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities.
  • System‑oriented, process‑driven approach.
  • Experience handling large workforces.
  • In‑depth knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Capability to manage employee relations and disciplinary matters.
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder‑management skills.
