About the role

The Katakwi District Local Government is recruiting qualified Ugandan professionals to fill a range of district service positions across several departments, including Works, Health, Education, Agriculture, Natural Resources, Community Development, Finance and Human Resources. Successful candidates will join the public service and contribute to the development and administration of Katakwi District.

Application process

• Submit applications in triplicate on Public Service Form No.3 (Revised 2008) to the Office of the Principal Human Resource Officer, District Service Commission, P.O. Box 74, Katakwi.
• Deadline for receipt is 20 February 2026, 5:00 PM (Monday).
• Forms are available free of charge from any District Service Commission office or Public Service Centre.
• Attach certified copies of academic certificates, a recent passport‑size photograph and the title of the post applied for.

• BSc Civil Engineering for District Works Supervisor (U5, external).
• BSc Water Resources Engineering for District Water Officer.
• BSc Public Health for District Health Inspector.
• Diploma in Midwifery for Senior Midwife and Midwife positions.
• BSc Education for Senior Education Officer and Education Officer.
• BSc Agriculture for Senior Agriculture Officer and Agriculture Officer.
• BSc Forestry for District Forester.
• BSc Social Work & Social Administration for Community Development Officer.
• BSc Accounting & Finance for Internal Auditor.
• BSc Human Resource Management for Human Resource Officer.
