Insurance Salesperson – Kampala

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kampala and focuses on driving new business for an insurance agency. The Salesperson will prospect, engage and convert potential clients while nurturing existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, sales calls and meetings.
• Present agency services, prepare proposals and quotations, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Manage a sales pipeline, track progress and meet revenue targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, gather feedback and coordinate with internal teams.
• Prepare regular sales reports, monitor market trends and support promotional activities.

Required profile

• Proven sales skills in a service‑based environment, including lead generation and closing.
• Strong client relationship management with a focus on trust and satisfaction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills, able to handle multiple opportunities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive, goal‑oriented attitude.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred.
