About the role

We are looking for an IT Sales Specialist to drive growth of our technology portfolio in Uganda. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, presenting tailored solutions and closing deals with corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in IT products and solutions such as networking, security, hardware and software.
  • Prepare and deliver client proposals, quotations and technical solution presentations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide hands‑on troubleshooting during the sales cycle.
  • Liaise with vendors, manage procurement discussions and ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business.
  • Follow up on leads, negotiate terms and close sales.

Required profile

  • Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in IT sales or a related technical sales role.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Self‑driven, results‑oriented mindset with the capacity to understand client requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
