Laboratory Technician (Clinical)

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to perform clinical laboratory testing and diagnostics in support of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency medical services. The role follows International Medical Corps protocols and adheres to strict laboratory safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Collect blood and other clinical specimens.
- Perform hematology, biochemistry, and microbiology tests.
- Prepare and process samples, including centrifugation and specimen preparation.
- Record and report results accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintain and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.
- Manage laboratory inventory and supplies.
- Support clinicians with diagnostic information for patient treatment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Laboratory technician diploma or relevant medical laboratory degree.
- 1–2 years of laboratory experience (desirable).
- Knowledge of laboratory diagnostic and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment safely.
- Fluency in English.
