Landlord and Tenant Relationship Manager

About the role

The Relationship Manager will be based in Kampala and work full‑time on the ground, building and maintaining long‑term relationships with renters and landlords using the RentBeta platform. You will guide new clients through onboarding, showcase platform features, and provide ongoing support to drive satisfaction and adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new renters and landlords, demonstrating platform functionalities.
• Conduct face‑to‑face consultations, client meetings and follow‑ups.
• Monitor account performance, prepare activity reports and track key metrics.
• Identify client needs, resolve issues promptly and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine services, processes and outreach initiatives.
• Represent RentBeta at partner locations, local events and community gatherings.

Required profile

• Strong client relationship and account management experience, with stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Sales and business development capability, including prospecting and lead nurturing.
• Operational and analytical aptitude for basic data analysis, reporting and performance tracking.
• Comfort working with digital platforms and fintech tools, able to explain features and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to prioritize multiple requests and meet deadlines.
• Experience in financial services, real estate, property management or related fields is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications or equivalent relevant experience.
• Willingness to work in the field across Kampala and adapt to a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
