Logistics Officer / Driver

About the role

Evidence Action is seeking a Logistics Officer/Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation and logistical support for staff, materials and documents across its operations. Working under the Area Coordinator, you will ensure timely and secure movement of passengers and cargo while maintaining vehicle standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Evidence Action vehicles to transport passengers, luggage and cargo, adhering to schedules and safety regulations.
• Deliver documents, packages and materials to designated locations, ensuring security and timeliness.
• Maintain accurate trip, mileage and fuel records and present them to management.
• Perform routine vehicle checks, schedule maintenance, and keep the vehicle clean and road‑worthy.
• Support office administration with inventory tracking, filing and other clerical tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Reports to the Area Coordinator (and dotted line to the Associate, Operations).
• No direct reports; works independently to meet logistical needs.

Required skills

• Safe driving and knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Accurate record‑keeping for trips, fuel consumption and vehicle logs.
