About the role
Operate and maintain farm machinery to support agricultural production at Asili farms Masindi Ltd.
Key responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors, sprayers, combines and attach implements like plows and harvesters.
- Conduct daily machine inspections, calibrations and routine maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, follow health and safety procedures, and report major malfunctions.
- Record field operations, inspection reports and input usage, and communicate maintenance needs to management.
Required skills
- Operating tractors, sprayers and combines.
- Attaching and adjusting farm implements using hand tools.
- Performing equipment inspections, calibrations and basic repairs.
