Manager – Digital Channels (Sales & Distribution)

About the role

The Manager – Digital Channels (Sales & Distribution) will lead the development, management and optimisation of MTN Uganda’s distribution and partner ecosystem. The role focuses on creating sustainable channel growth, expanding market reach and driving revenue through effective channel strategies and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement channel development strategies aligned with commercial objectives.
• Identify and evaluate new routes to market and channel opportunities, and design expansion initiatives.
• Establish and manage relationships with distributors, dealers, aggregators, agents, resellers and strategic partners, negotiating agreements and monitoring performance.
• Deliver channel revenue, subscriber acquisition and market share targets, and drive activation and sales acceleration campaigns.
• Monitor channel productivity, profitability and KPI performance, and resolve escalations.
• Support commercialization of new products and services and develop incentive frameworks to improve channel performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in channel strategy, partner management and revenue growth within a telecom or related environment.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with ability to develop business plans and monitor performance.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and drive strategic initiatives.
