Marketing & Outreach Officer

About the role

The Marketing & Outreach Officer will plan and implement marketing and outreach activities to promote study abroad and summer camp programs. This full‑time position is based in Kampala and involves engaging schools, parents, and students to generate leads and conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Visit schools and organisations to build relationships with headteachers, career masters and administrators.
• Secure meetings, presentations, career days, exhibitions and partnership opportunities.
• Present agency services to students, parents and institutions, generating leads through visits, events and referrals.
• Conduct initial consultations, follow‑up prospects and work towards conversion.
• Identify new marketing, outreach and partnership opportunities and coordinate promotional activities.
• Maintain accurate records, update internal trackers and manage a monthly outreach calendar.
• Monitor and report on outreach activity, leads generated and conversions against targets.

Required profile

• Strong engagement and outreach skills with ability to build relationships with schools, students, parents and local partners.
• Excellent communication, public speaking and writing abilities.
• Event management experience, including planning education fairs, school visits and information sessions.
• Solid research skills to identify new outreach opportunities and market trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, business development or education consultancy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic digital tools and social media platforms for promotion.
• Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
