Mining Manager – 3T Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Mining Manager to lead the 3T mining operations, ensuring compliance with government regulations and driving effective trade of local minerals. The role involves overseeing all aspects of mining activities, from licensing and environmental compliance to labour, tax and community relations within Uganda. You will also manage market channels, coordinate distribution and control business risks associated with mineral trade agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure government supervision and maintain all required mining licenses in full compliance.
• Maintain environmental standards and foster positive community relations.
• Oversee labour practices and ensure accurate tax compliance.
• Develop and sustain cooperation with local mine owners.
• Manage the full‑cycle trade of local minerals from extraction to market.
• Maintain market channels and coordinate distribution networks.
• Control business risks and manage contractual agreements with partners.

Required profile

• Fluent in English with proven ability to draft detailed reports and official documents.
• Strong understanding of mining‑related taxation, export policies, and labour law.
