Phone Sales Agent – Earn per smartphone sold

About the role

Majibu Africa is expanding its smartphone financing service across Kampala and needs energetic field sales agents to recruit customers for phone loans. You will work directly in your neighbourhood, signing up clients and handing over devices once approved.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential customers at boda‑boda stages, markets, salons, shops and trading centres.
• Explain the financing terms (UGX 100,000 deposit and daily mobile‑money payments).
• Register customers in the Majibu app and coordinate phone hand‑over after approval.
• Onboard partner phone shops and earn commissions on their sales.
• Meet weekly sales targets and report to your Team Leader.
• Progress to Team Leader role and earn on the performance of your team.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with a valid Ugandan National ID.
• Resident of Uganda, familiar with the local area.
• Fluent in Luganda and English.
• Own an Android smartphone.
• Honest, self‑driven and motivated to earn.
