Preschool Cook – Healthy Meals for Early Learners

About the role

We are looking for a Preschool Cook to prepare nutritious, kid‑friendly meals and snacks for our early‑learning classrooms. You will play a key part in keeping our children energized and ready to learn while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and serve balanced meals and snacks that meet USDA guidelines.
• Organize and manage food and supply storage areas.
• Deliver meals to classrooms promptly and with a friendly attitude.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, handle dishwashing, and ensure equipment is sanitized.
• Assist with additional duties such as laundry, equipment cleaning, and toy sanitizing.
• Perform occasional lifting and other physical tasks as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old and meets all state preschool cook requirements.
• Minimum one year experience in food planning, preparation, and service following USDA guidelines.
• Preferred current Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification.
