Preschool Cook – Healthy Meals for Kids

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a dedicated Preschool Cook to prepare nutritious meals for young learners. You will join a collaborative team focused on child development and healthy eating.

Key responsibilities

• Create kid‑friendly, balanced meals and snacks following USDA guidelines.
• Maintain organized food and supply storage areas.
• Serve meals to classrooms, ensuring timely delivery.
• Clean dishes, sanitize kitchen equipment, and keep the kitchen spotless.
• Assist with additional duties such as laundry, equipment cleaning, and toy sanitization.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old and meets state preschool cook requirements.
• Minimum 1 year experience in food planning, preparation, and service.
• Preferred: Current Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification.
