Primary Classroom Assistant (Ages 3‑6)

About the role

Webster Montessori School is looking for a dedicated Primary Classroom Assistant to support one of its Primary classrooms (ages 3‑6) for the 2026‑2027 school year. The role involves working closely with the lead teacher to create a nurturing, Montessori‑aligned learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in daily lesson preparation and delivery.
• Support children in developing independence, concentration, and social skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with the teacher.
• Facilitate Montessori materials and activities according to the curriculum.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience working with children aged 3‑6 in a classroom setting.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, caring, and energetic.
• Passion for child‑centered, Montessori education.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families.
