Product Manager - Security (Application Management)

About the role

Canonical is looking for a Product Manager to lead the security product lifecycle for its Application Management portfolio. You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing and sales to shape the product vision and ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product development lifecycle, set priorities and align goals across teams.
• Conduct market research, analyse trends and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities.
• Communicate product vision, status updates and key decisions to keep stakeholders aligned.
• Run usability testing, analyse feedback and iterate to improve user experience.
• Collaborate on go‑to‑market strategies, create documentation and provide training for sales and support.

Required profile

• Exceptional academic results at high school and university.
• Strong understanding of Linux and the open‑source software community.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, application development, datacenters, cloud or devices.
• Passion for writing about technology and continuous learning.
• Outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
