Quality Assurance Analyst – IT Department

About the role

The Quality Assurance Analyst will champion business requirements reviews, ensure testability, and define overall test strategies for IT projects. Working closely with functional teams, the analyst will create and maintain test artifacts and validate solutions against business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate business requirements reviews across functional teams to ensure completeness and testability.
• Define and create project test strategy, test plans, schedules, and estimate test effort.
• Develop, document and maintain functional and non‑functional test cases, scripts, test data and automated scripts.
• Execute and validate test cases, ensuring traceability to requirements.
• Collaborate on SQA process improvement, tool adoption and template definition.
• Conduct test readiness assessments, establish test beds for white‑box and black‑box testing.
• Perform integration, regression, load, performance, security and usability testing.
• Report defects, prepare test results and acceptance reports, and support post‑deployment sanity testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• STQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (preferred) and other testing certifications.
• Certified Agile Tester, Certified Scrum Master (advantageous).
• Strong understanding of test processes and ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams.
