Quality Engineer – Production

About the role

The Quality Engineer – Production ensures that manufacturing processes, equipment, and finished products meet defined quality standards. You will identify quality issues, drive corrective and preventive actions, and continuously improve production efficiency and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement process‑improvement strategies to reduce cost and increase output.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and training to meet production goals.
• Introduce new production procedures that enhance safety and quality control.
• Execute single‑piece flow production and improve overall efficiency.
• Conduct stage inspections during excavator assembly and manage corrective actions for field failures.
• Inspect finished goods against customer quality assurance plans and oversee incoming supplier material quality.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience (junior level).
• Ability to work collaboratively with Production Manager, General Manager and Programme Manager.
• Strong understanding of quality concepts such as 7QC tools, Quality Circles, 5S and Kaizen.
• Good documentation skills to complete inspection reports within mandated timelines.
