Sales Agent – Business Planning & Advertising Solutions

About the role

BUSINESS SKILLS UGANDA is seeking motivated Sales Agents to join its Kampala team. You will promote business planning, advertising, and related services, including insurance products, to prospective clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients through calls and visits.
• Present and explain service offerings, prepare proposals, and follow up to close sales.
• Achieve or exceed defined sales targets.
• Provide customer service support and respond to client inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and sales activities.
• Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share market insights and refine sales approaches.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales skills in prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
• Willingness to learn or prior experience with insurance or financial products.
• Ability to absorb new information quickly and apply it in client interactions.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior client‑facing or sales experience in Kampala or similar markets.
• Professional integrity and full‑time on‑site availability.
