Sales Agent

About the role

YooKatale is looking for a full‑time Sales Agent to work in a hybrid setting based in the Central region of Uganda. You will be responsible for introducing our mobile food market platform to potential customers, guiding them through the purchasing process and turning leads into loyal users.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective household and commercial clients in the Central area.
• Present YooKatale’s food market services and explain product offerings.
• Manage customer inquiries, provide accurate product information and support the buying journey.
• Maintain up‑to‑date sales records and follow up on leads regularly.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and campaign execution.
• Collect market feedback and contribute ideas for improving sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in training and onboarding new customers to the platform.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities to interact with diverse clients.
• Experience in field sales, retail, food services or digital marketplaces is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively and travel within the Central region as needed.
• Basic proficiency with mobile applications and online communication tools.
• A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
