Sales and Marketing Representative

About the role

The Insurance Agency is looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Representative to join our team in Kampala. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and supporting our marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and client visits.
• Conduct sales presentations, prepare proposals, and follow up on leads to close deals.
• Support marketing campaigns by gathering market intelligence and contributing to promotional materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are understood and services are delivered as agreed.
• Maintain basic reporting on sales activities, targets, and market feedback.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for clear service presentation and negotiation.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to manage inquiries and build long‑term partnerships.
• Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
• Willingness to be trained on agency services, sales techniques, and basic marketing tools.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
