Sales Manager – Insurance & Financial Services

About the role

Prudential Uganda is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead its sales team in Kampala. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on driving growth of insurance and financial products while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed targets.
• Set sales goals, monitor performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Develop and execute sales plans, forecast results, and analyse data to inform decisions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, compliance, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate initiatives and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Prepare regular sales reports and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Proven track record in sales management or supervisory roles, preferably within financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Required skills

• Experience with customer relationship management processes.
• Ability to develop and execute sales strategies and forecasts.
