Sales Marketing Executive

About the role

The Sales Marketing Executive is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala, focused on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for an insurance agency.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and meet with potential and existing clients.
• Conduct market research, prepare sales proposals and present tailored advertising and marketing solutions.
• Manage client relationships and track campaign performance against targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and maintain accurate sales records.
• Contribute to strategic marketing plans to increase brand visibility and revenue.

Required profile

• Strong skills in market research, market planning, sales prospecting, negotiation and closing deals.
• Marketing expertise for campaign development, brand positioning and promotion activities.
• Excellent communication skills for client presentations, teamwork and professional correspondence.
• Relevant experience in sales, marketing or advertising, preferably within an agency or related industry.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines and performance targets.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic office and presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools (added advantage).
