Sales Representative – Annuities & Life Assurance

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Sales Representative position in Kampala focuses on promoting Prudential Annuities and life assurance products. You will identify prospective clients, qualify leads and guide customers toward solutions that match their financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients to present annuity and life assurance offerings.
• Prepare proposals, illustrations and respond to client inquiries.
• Follow up on leads generated through marketing activities and referrals.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and generate regular sales reports.
• Coordinate with underwriting and customer‑service teams to ensure smooth application and onboarding.
• Achieve defined sales targets and participate in training sessions.
• Represent the company at events, seminars and client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven sales and client‑relationship experience, preferably in financial services or insurance.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills in professional English.
• Ability to work with targets, manage a sales pipeline and follow a structured sales process.
• Comfort with basic financial concepts and willingness to learn product details.
• Organizational and time‑management competence with accurate record‑keeping.
• High integrity, discretion and a focus on regulatory and ethical standards.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field; certifications are a plus.
• Previous on‑site sales experience in Kampala or similar markets is beneficial.
