About the role
Starfly Steel (Uganda) Co. Ltd is seeking enthusiastic entry‑level Sales Representatives to promote its range of steel products across Uganda. You will work directly with customers, understand their needs, and help them select the right steel solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and approach new clients in the manufacturing and construction sectors.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
- Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales.
- Track sales activities, monitor market trends, and report weekly, monthly and annual performance.
- Plan and organise daily work schedule to meet sales targets.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Ugandan university.
- 0‑1 year of work experience, preferably in customer‑facing sales.
- Age between 22 and 32 years.
- Strong communication skills in English and local languages.
- Motivation to work in a fast‑growing steel manufacturing environment.
Required skills
- Basic sales techniques and customer service.
- Ability to analyse sales data and generate simple reports.
