Sales Team Lead – Field Sales Management

About the role

The Sales Team Lead will manage field sales agents across Bweyale and Arua, driving sales of SunCulture’s irrigation and climate‑technology solutions for smallholder farmers. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the role focuses on planning, team performance and client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and onboard goal‑oriented sales agents.
• Run daily and weekly check‑ins to maintain high productivity.
• Track and report lead generation and sales pipelines across agents.
• Coordinate after‑sales service to ensure brand reputation.
• Set sales KPIs with the Sales Manager and monitor closures against targets.
• Build relationships with clients, partners and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in the energy sector with a record of meeting quotas.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and strategic planning abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle rejection and manage time effectively.
• Passion for irrigation and knowledge of industry trends.
• Independent thinker comfortable with ambiguity and fast‑changing environments.
