About the role

The Sales Team Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position in Kampala, responsible for leading the insurance sales team and ensuring targets are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise sales representatives, set targets and monitor daily sales activities.
  • Coach, train and conduct regular performance reviews for team members.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve customer service and resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecast sales and contribute to process improvement.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership or supervisory role, preferably in insurance.
  • Strong team management, training and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and negotiation abilities.
  • Organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work on‑site in Kampala in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with basic computer applications.
  • Experience using sales reporting tools.
