About the role
The Sales Trainee role is a full‑time, on‑site position in Kampala, supporting the sales team in the international trade finance sector. You will learn sales processes, engage with clients, and assist in preparing presentations and proposals.
Key responsibilities
- Support client outreach and respond to inquiries.
- Gather client requirements and coordinate with internal teams.
- Prepare presentations and proposals for trade finance solutions.
- Track sales activities using company systems and tools.
- Participate in structured training and shadow senior sales professionals.
Required profile
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service orientation with professionalism.
- Basic sales skills such as prospecting and negotiation.
- Ability to learn quickly from coaching and mentoring.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field (preferred).
Required skills
- Proficiency with common office software (email, spreadsheets, presentations).
- Experience using CRM tools.
