Senior Data Collection & Integrity Officer

About the role

The Senior Data Collection & Integrity Officer will lead the end‑to‑end data lifecycle for Raising The Village’s operations in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Reporting to the Technical Lead – Data Collection & Integrity, the role ensures data is accurate, consistent, and reliable while supporting the organization’s mission to lift ultra‑poor communities out of poverty.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee data collection processes across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with ethical and quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, and champion standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data collection, storage, and usage.
• Design wireframes and data aggregation frameworks that embed multi‑level quality controls.
• Support automation of manual data collection methods to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Review and approve resource plans, and deliver comprehensive training for contractors on ethical data handling.
• Implement robust data integrity and assurance protocols, including regular audits and validation checks.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in data collection, data quality, or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage data projects across multiple geographic locations.
• Strong understanding of data governance, ethical handling, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder coordination.
