Senior Sales Director

About the role

The Senior Sales Director will drive revenue growth, forge strategic partnerships, and expand iFortify’s cybersecurity portfolio across Uganda and the wider East African market. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will build a scalable enterprise sales engine and position iFortify as a trusted cybersecurity partner for large enterprises and public‑sector organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual commercial strategy and set revenue targets.
• Build and manage enterprise and public‑sector sales pipelines, owning strategic account relationships.
• Lead complex cybersecurity solution selling, negotiations and contract closures.
• Design go‑to‑market plans for Managed Security Services, SOC, Vulnerability Management, Red Team Operations, Identity & Access Management, Cloud Security and Cyber Advisory.
• Recruit, coach and manage a high‑performing sales team, establishing performance metrics and incentive programmes.
• Drive forecasting, quarterly business reviews and pipeline conversion reporting.
• Establish alliances with technology vendors, telecoms, financial services and government entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10‑15 years of B2B enterprise sales experience, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity or technology sales leadership.
• Proven track record of achieving ARR targets and expanding market presence.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Cloud Fundamentals and vendor‑specific credentials.
