Stock/Inventory Manager

About the role

The Stock/Inventory Manager will lead the planning, control and optimisation of inventory across our electronics distribution network, ensuring stock availability while minimising excess and waste.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory management policies, procedures and controls.
• Forecast stock requirements based on sales trends, seasonality and demand‑planning input.
• Oversee all warehouse operations – receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Manage relationships with logistics and freight providers to ensure efficient inbound shipments and landed‑cost optimisation.
• Conduct physical stock counts, cycle counts and annual stocktakes, investigating variances, shrinkage and damages.
• Supervise and develop stock controllers and warehouse staff, setting performance targets for accuracy, stock‑outs and turnaround times.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales and finance to align purchasing, stock availability and valuation.
• Ensure compliance with import documentation, regulatory standards and maintain audit‑ready records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of inventory/warehouse management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in distribution, FMCG or import/electronics trading preferred.
• Strong analytical ability to work with stock KPIs, margin analysis and demand forecasting.

Required skills

• ERP/inventory systems such as SAP, Zoho, QuickBooks or Tally.
• People management and leadership capabilities.
• Analytical and KPI reporting proficiency.
